The Importance of Article Submission

05/22/2009

Many website owners find the task of creating a website and then promoting that website a daunting prospect. This is especially true for anyone who is creating their own website for the first time. Although they may have great knowledge about their website niche, this is not enough when it comes to generating traffic to the site to get the information read. Unless a website owner is creating a site on an obscure topic, the likelihood is that there will be millions (or sometimes billions!) of websites to compete against for search engine traffic. This means that the site needs to generate the all important backlinks that play a significant part in many of the top search engines algorithms for high search engine placement. This is where writing and submitting articles to article directories can be very rewarding, but this is not the only benefit that article writing possesses:

- Aswell as the backlinks that are provided to a website, an article also provides an opportunity for an author to display their expertise in a particular field. The hope is that readers would then be encouraged to find more of your articles and to visit your website for further information that would be of interest to them.

- In all probability the visitor to the article directory who has decided that an article is of interest to them is reading the article because the article topic interests them. This means that any visitor that chooses to then visit a website in the resource box can be described as a highly-targeted visitor. It’s one thing getting a visitor to a site, it’s another getting a targeted visitor – they are already interested in the topic your website represents!

The level of success that one can achieve from article submission is largely dependant on the article quality and the value of the information it contains for the reader. The article topic will also determine the success and readership of that particular article. For example, it is likely that there is a greater audience for marketing related topics than there is for a niche like coin collecting. This is certainly not to say that an author cannot reap great benefits by submitting such an article. In fact it could be argued that an article written about a topic such as coin collecting has less competition within the article directory sites, allowing the possibility for a potential targeted reader to find it easily.

Article writing and submission holds benefits for all authors, no matter the topic of the article. Concentrating on the quality of an article and how informative it is for a prospective reader is important, but sitting down and actually giving article writing a go is essential for all webmasters in order to drive targeted traffic to a website.

Article submission should not be underestimated – it is one of the best promotional tools a website owner possesses.

How to Write Articles That Actually Increase Internet Traffic and Deliver Results – The Second Step

The second step in writing articles after you have identified your article topic (Step One) that actually increase Internet traffic and deliver results is to research the key words for both the content and even more importantly for your title. Unless key words are expertly woven throughout the article, the likelikhood of your article being searched for have been greatly diminished.

Locating high traffic and high searched key words are very much like researching those “dreaded” high school and college research reports. Only, you have an advantage that you didn’t have years ago that being Inventory Overture at
http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion This free service allows you to type in any word and learn how many times that word was searched during the previous month.

Using a worksheet program, I use Excel, you can begin to create a listing of all pertinent and potential key words. In many cases, this is probably an extension of the keywords that were searched during the first step of locating a relevant topic. This type of harvesting allows you to build some historical information.

Another simpler way is to add a chart at the bottom of your article and start adding words to be checked at Inventory Overture. A rule of thumb for myself is to include at least 10 highly search keywords within each article not including the title.

For example, after determining that the topic is “small business help,” I noticed that small business had 7,410 searches in August while “business or businesses” had 1,730,952 and small business (small businesses) revealed 271,253 searches. By knowing these words or phrases ahead of time, I can begin to frame the content around these specific key words.

Additionally, you can subscribe to various ezines written specifically to Search Enginge Opitimization (SEO) such as one offered by http://www.axandra.com These publications provide additional research and knowledge regarding keywords.

Even though content is said to be king, if you can’t provide the “right” content based upon key words, then readers and potential visitors to your sight will not be interested.

Writing Hint: Build it and they will come is not necessarily the most effective attitude to have.

If you truly wish to connect your passion to your purpose to double your performance, then take some time to research those key words that will truly double the traffic to your website.

6 Super Tips To Become Successful With Your Own Info-Product

05/08/2009

There are many ways you can become successful with your own info-products. So, I’ve included some ideas and tips to help you.

1. Create e-books for other web sites or businesses. You could create them for no charge in exchange for an ad or a mention of your web site inside. You could also create them in exchange for getting the reprint rights to them.

2. Purchase reprint rights to other people’s e-books and combine them in a large package deal with your own product. You should check with the reprint rights owners to see if they will allow it first. If you can’t afford to buy reprint rights, you could always trade for them.

3. Allow people to use any of your freebies as free bonuses for products or services they sell. Include your ad on all your freebies. Some people only give away freebies in order to allow other people the right to give them away. You could also give them the right to include a freebie with their own product as a bonus. For example, “Feel free to use this free e-book as a bonus product!”

4. Learn sales ideas from reading and studying other businesses’ advertising and marketing material. It could be ads, brochures, TV ads, sales letters, etc. For example, if you see an attention-getting headline, rewrite it but don’t copy it for your own product. Another example, if you seen an ad with a persuasive ‘before’ and ‘after’ picture, maybe you could do that for your own product.

5. Allow other people to give away your free e-book. This will increase the number of people who will see your ad in the e-book. You could also include a mini catalog of all your products or services that you offer in the e-book. You could include your own products or associate program’s products in the e-book.

6. Sell your own products or services. They should be related to your target audience. You want to be able to take credit cards on your site and deliver your product to them as fast as possible.

Use these tips well and you can become successful with your own info-product.

Article Views on Online Article Submission Websites

05/03/2009

Studying the dynamics of online article averages views on online article submission websites is indeed an interesting thing. It is also interesting to study which articles are super high views and how many professional ezine publisher captures that an author gets. Additionally the real key is how many total article views an author or writer has and the pace at which they may post articles as well.

As the most prolific article writer on the Internet; I have many plus 10,000 article views articles and 35,144 Ezine Publisher Captures with 1,673,975 article views. Additionally, I have found that when you are constantly posting 600 articles per month you actually drive your average down, but your totals go ballistic.

It appears to me that if Ezine Publishers are specialists and most are then they look for those authors who are in category. The more articles you have in their category the more they will take to fill put in que for future issues or for those who have websites in Que to post on the site perhaps in the future.

Also I would like to point out that when an author writes a huge number right up front in a couple of months it takes time for them to drive upward. So, if I increase my rates of articles to 30 articles per day then my averages will go down temporarily and my total views will skyrocket. If I ever stop writing my article view averages will just be incredible and move up each week by a significant and noticeable amount.

Studying the statistics of online article writers and authors is indeed an interesting phenomena and it is a very fast moving trend to watch in the online article submission site Internet Sector. Have you looked at your statistics lately? How are you doing so far? Consider this in 2006.

This Is A Money Making Article

04/30/2009

Is this a money making article? Watch it make money. It is an article about writing an article that makes money. Once I have written it, I will then give away the article. Maybe it seems like one of the more unusual ways to make money, but it is right in line with the way the internet works.

Creating A Money Making Article

1. First you have to write a title that catches attention and has the right keywords in it. This has the keyword phrase “money making article,” and apparently caught your attention. Make the title relevant to the article content, of course, or the reader will feel tricked, and may stop reading.

2. Have a short description that pulls the reader in. You might use the first couple sentences of the article for this. Tell the readers what they will find in the article, and leave them curious. You read this far, so that seems to be working.

3. Have useful information or good stories. It is even better if you have both.

4. Put the keywords in the body of the article, and in sub-headings, so search engines can find your article. Note that I used “money making article” in the sub-heading above, and I just used it again.

5. Create an “authors resource box” that makes the reader want to visit your site. Talk very little about yourself and more about why the reader should go to your web site. I’ll be watching to see how well mine works in this case. Be sure the link to your website works.

6. Make money from visitors to your site. You could be selling your own products, or getting a commission for selling other people’s products, or just be getting paid for the advertising there.

7. Submit your article to the best article directories on the web. This is where you “give away” your articles. Directory visitors read them there, and other web site owners take them and use them. Generally, they can’t change a word in your article, and they have to make that link to your site (in the author’s resource box) active. This is how you get traffic to your website.

8. Let the readers learn something, but let them know there is more. This gets them to your site, to learn more. For example, I outlined the basic process above, but I’m leaving out the list of the best article directories to submit to. Of course, in the resource box I will mention that it is on my website. This is how you create a money making article.
